From Louise
Perry, who slipped by rescue fire workers to go back inside a burning home to save her family, was fighting for her life when I became aware of this story. I have since learned that Perry died.

Vanessa, thank you for writing. Perry's story has touched the lives of many. I can only imagine how much you miss her, and I am thinking of you as you move on to build a new life, surely with her watching over you to continue guiding you every step of the way.

I am in tears with all the support my family has received, and for the exposure. Perry was a wonderful pet, and a hero indeed. We were blessed to have her for 6 of her 8 years. She was a rescued Mastiff, and it came full circle when she rescued my family. Thank you so much for your support.
